If you habit events pertaining to vintage motorcycles you might have been lucky enough to experience the historical vision of the original Super Six Hudson “truck” of Elbert R Hall, famous purveyor of all things motorcycle. This famous “truck” is not really a truck at all but a 1929 4 door sedan automobile converted to a “cooler than dang it” farm truck. Elbert’s son and current guardian of the Hudson “truck” has a blast entertainin hisself and crowds at the event he takes “Elbert…the truck” to.

If you have been to a Cracker Barrel and enjoy seeing all the original stuff and things hanging off the walls you would surely enjoy Scott’s “Elbert” truck. There are more things hanging off this Hudson truck than “carters got pills”! “Elbert smokes out of stacks which located just behind the cab and are Model T torque tubes turned into exhaust. The smoke smells like some perfume like “thunderbolt” or somethin! No joke….Scott has some concoction he drips on a manifold or something that is sweet smelling and smokes a lot. “Elbert” plays music (real music…. original Bill Monroe, Louvin Bros and all good ones… all my bluegrass heros!

There are thousands of things you shouldn’t miss on the Elbert Hall Hudson, like the his n hers bedpans for the long trips or the extendaspotlite for coon huntin. One thing you will absolutely not miss is when Scott pulls the train horn or one of the many air horns mounted directly behind the spacious Hudson pilote compartment.

Scott Hall has more fun than anybody. If you can’t have fun and make other people smile then we should figger out somethin else to do. Scott’s “Elbert R Hall” celebration of his love for antique motorcycles and people is a great tribute to the kind of people I love hanging with.
